The summer gig season is kicking off! On 18.5, Aarne Tenkanen Duo will take the stage at Stall’s Bar & Food. Weather permitting, the performance will take place under the open sky, otherwise in our large festival tent.
Aarne Tapani Tenkanen is a Finnish musician and fictional character portrayed by Kai “Kaide” Järvinen.
Järvinen’s and also Tenkanen’s careers began together with Gösta Sundqvist, when they created radio programs together in the early 90s. Sundqvist created the character Tenkanen together with Järvinen. Tenkanen is a tram clerk from Helsinki who speaks “stadin slangi”. His interests mostly include women and alcohol.
With us, he will perform songs from the past decades!
