Welcome to the intergenerational cartoon workshop at Taalintehdas!
We are looking for participants aged 15-30 and over 65 for a workshop with visual storytelling exercises, a short outdoor sensory walk and easy cartoons. The workshop will involve imagining the future and exploring the environment with different senses.
We especially welcome duos of different ages to participate: if you have a grandchild, grandparent or even a neighbour of an appropriate age, please invite them to join us.
The workshop is suitable for everyone. You don’t need previous drawing experience. You can also come alone. Bring shoes suitable for short walks.
The workshop is offered by NORPAS, the international cultural project Explore the Gap and Aalto University and is free for participants. The workshop is part of Aalto University’s research on the impact of creative activities on well-being, but participation in the research itself is voluntary. A free snack will be served during the coffee break.
TUESDAY 19.9.2023, 16-20, Återbrucket, Dalsbruksvägen 679, Dalsbruk.
Facilitators:
Sanna Hukkanen, cartoon artist & Inkeri Aula, cultural researcher.
Instructions for the workshop will be given primarily in Finnish and interpreted if necessary.
